Sleep with the Angels
Sleep with the Angels is a project of Musica Mundial
Productions designed to bring the benefits of classical music into
the lives of  newborns, young children, and their families.
To that end, Musica Mundial seeks to partner with hospitals and
other organizations that have close initial contact with new
mothers.  MMP makes available, with no production cost or
licensing fees to the organization, these beautiful classical guitar
arrangements of lullabies, arranged and performed by the artist
AnnaMaria (Visit
www.annamaria.ws to learn more).
Hospitals and other organizations can then, at a very low
manufacturing cost, give these albums to the patients and clients
they serve.  Depending on the size of the run, the albums’ cover
graphics can be customized to reflect the logo or message of the
organization.  Click

The role of classical music in the development of young children:

  • Many recent studies have pointed to the intellectual benefits of
early exposure to classical music, especially in the development
of spatial, mathematical, reasoning, and social skills.

  • Early enjoyment of classical music gives the children greater
cultural awareness, creating a familiarity with the “classics” of
their own culture and a window into others, paving the way for
    future academic and personal achievement.

  • Filling the home with classical music has the enormous emotional
and psychological benefits of soothing the child to sleep and
relaxing the parents during the stressful transition of welcoming a
    new member into the family.

MMP seeks especially to partner with organizations that serve
lower-income families for whom the above benefits
are not easily accessible.
